What is DGP?

Daily Grammar Practice is a program that helps kids apply and understand grammar concepts and to remember them forever. It is a simple, logical process that actually forces grammar concepts to move to long-term memory. The key to GDP is that it is daily!

What are we doing each day during DGP?

Monday: Students identify the parts of speech in the sentence (noun, pronoun, verb, adverb, adjective, conjunction, preposition, and interjection)

Tuesday: Students add punctuation and capitalization.

Wednesday: Students identify the subject, predicate, and prepositional phrases in the sentence.

Thursday: Students identify the sentence type and sentence purpose for the sentence.

Friday: Students will diagram the sentence.
